WST offers powder flame spray coating equipment WST-5P-II & WST-6P-II for spraying ceramics and metallic powders as economical model in the powder flame spray series. Offered guns are similar to Oerlikon Metco’s Type 5P-II & 6P-II combustion powder flame spray guns. The system has light weight hand held powder flame spray gun which is unique in design and easy to operate. The WST-5P-II & WST-6P-II system is ideal for occasional thermal spray needs and a good choice for entry level of powder spray requirements.

WST-5P-II & WST-6P-II Powder flame spray system is most commonly used for the application of part restoration, wear resistance coating, non-conductive, anti-corrosion, etc . The gun has powder canister on it and thus avoids any separate requirement of powder feeder.

The gun is suitable to spray powder like self-fluxing alloys, ceramics, self-bonding material and other metallic alloys. The system offers high deposition rate of coating to meet the customer’s requirements.

WST-5P-II POWDER FLAME SPRAY SYSTEM

WST-5P-II Powder Flame Spray system consists of WST-5P-II Gun, 2GFA Gas Flowmeter, gas control unit, air control unit and hose sets.

WST-6P-II POWDER FLAME SPRAY SYSTEM

WST-6P-II Powder Flame Spray system consists of WST-6P-II Gun, Powder Feeder PFD-700, 2GFA Gas Flowmeter, gas control unit, air control unit and hose sets.

ID EXTENSION FOR INSIDE COATING Type : 5PExT

WST offers ID extensions for powder flame spray guns for inside coating where coating flame from standard gun cannot reach. The ID extension is offered is three length 1’, 2’ & 3’.

The extension is available in 80° spray angle for coating inside any pipe like surface.

Type 2GFA GAS FLOWMETER

Gas Flowmeter, Type 2GFA for Fuel & Oxygen Flow rate adjustment as per parameters for each wire. The flowmeter is offered with built-in NRV for safety protection against backfire, which does not allow reverse flow of the gases.

The gas flowmeter is wall mounting type with flow indicator knobs which can be positioned and locked at desired reading manually by the operator. Gas inlet connections to the flowmeter are at the bottom and outlet from top sides.

Type 3GF GAS FLOWMETER

Type 3AF AIR FLOWMETER

Air Flowmeter, Type 3AF with scale in NLPM & SCFH is a highly accurate, rugged and reliable instrument for regulating and measuring the flow of compressed air in a manual powder or wire flame spray system.

The air flowmeter is wall mounting type with flow indicator knobs which can be positioned and locked at desired reading manually by the operator. Air inlet connections to the flowmeter are at the bottom and outlet from top sides.

POWDER FEEDER PFD-700

A volumetric metering type powder feeder unit if offered to feed the gun with coating powder from feeder canister outlet. The feeder has rota-meter type flowmeter for measuring carrier gas flow readout.

The powder feeder has rotating stainless steel disk with suitable number and size of the holes Powder Canister Capacity IS 700 C.C (0.7 Ltrs) Volumetric. Carrier Gas Flow used in the flowmeter is Nitrogen / Argon (Flowmeter)

POWDER FLAME SPRAY PROCESS

Powder flame spray process uses Fuel gas (Acetylene/Hydrogen) and Oxygen for the combustion to melt the powder in the flame to spray on the substrate, gets instantly solidifies in various layers thus gives required coating thickness of desired coating properties. Powder is fed from axially in the flame and thus uniformly melts the material to achieve required coating properties.
